As you are aware, we are the mechanical subcontractor on
the Radiation Oncology Center addition to Valley General
Hospital/Medical Center.
The procnssas and procedures which are to be utilized in
this area are not familiar to us, however, since radiation
is to be utilised we wish to express our concern over the
Possibility or contamination. We are quite sure that the
system as designed and installed conforms to all applicable
codes and regulations, but would like to advise you that .in
our scope of work and thus our installation, there are no
provisions for cross connection control of the domestic water
system, as this buildinq is supplied with water from the existinq
hospital.
We wish to reiterate that we know of no code violations nor
less than excellent enginoccing practices involved in this
condition, but merely wish to inform you of this situation
s that yQu_car lake any measures, if you so desire.

COMES NOW PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICT NO. 1 OF KING COUNTY,
a municipal corporation (Valley General Hospita!) , and hereby
grants unto the CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation, a license
to go upon, over, across a-d under the property described on
.� Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully
� set forth, in order to install, replace, maintain or repair
water lines installed and to be installed at locations shown
on Exhibit "B" ("installed" shown in red, and "to be installed"
shown in preen) attached hereto and incorporated herein as if
fully set forth.
This license shall likewise exttrd to any such water lines
that are installed or relocated by the Hospital District or the City
or its agents with prior agreement with the Pospital District from
time to time when such water lines form a part of the City's
water system and are cunveyed to the City. The City shall limit
its activities on the subject property as much as is practical
to the immediate area of the water lines.
Further, the City agrees to repair or return th premises,
after any work on the premises, to the condition in which the
premises were prior to the City's work.
This Agreement shall be in full force and effect until
rescinded by the parties in wri•ang•
