Dear Mr. Minice:
An inspection of the project was made un Octuber 31 , 1980, in conjunction
with the ine-year maintenance and guarantee ?rovision of the contras'.
During that inspection, it was found that puts of the joints of the
asph,.lt were holding water and were generally of an unacceptable nature.
it is requested that you make arrangements to have this problem corrected.
A one-incl. overlay of a modified asphaltic concrete mix 11id with proper
cross slope is one way to correct the problem.
If you have any other options that you feel will satisfactorily correct N
the prublem we would be more than happy to discuss them with you.
This work should not be done at this time but should be delayed until
spring. By this letter, the City of Renton is hereby extending the
maintenance and guarantee period until the completion of the above-
mentioned work. Also, any items remaining on the punch list that have
not been completed should be taken care of as soon as possible.
If you would like to discuss the matter further, please advise.
