Narrative
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State of
Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras.This report is a summary of
events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 10/21/2025, at approximately 2219 hours I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run at the intersection
of the Talbot Rd S and 1-405. Dispatch advised 2000hrs, hit and run with suspect info
At approximately 2219 hours I contacted the driver of Unit 2 identified as Hau V. phan DOB 3/20/1964. Hau
advised the following information. He was driving on the 1405 off ramp towards Talbot Rd S. He was in the out
left turn lane. Unit 1 was in the lane to his right which was designated to only go straight through the
intersection. When the light turned green Hau began to turn left onto Talbot Rd S. Unit 1, still in the lane
designated to only go straight, decides to turn left onto Talbot Rd S and swerves left striking the passenger
side of Unit 2. Unit 1 then proceeds to drive southbound without stopping and exchanging information.
Hau advised the was able to get the license plate of Unit 1 (CRY2255). However, he was not able to see the
driver and could not ID them.
No other suspect information at this time.
If a suspect can be identified there is probable cause for the crime of hit and run attended.
