Narrative
Unit 1 (U1)was traveling north on Burnet Ave N, approaching N 3rd St which was controlled by a posted stop
sign.
Unit 2 (U2)was traveling east on N 3rd St approaching the intersection of Burnett Ave N (there is no east/west
traffic control).
U1 failed to stop at the south posted stop sign, encroaching the travel path of U2. U2 applied/attempted to brake
but was unable to avoid the collision, and subsequently collided with U1.
Both U1 and U2 sustained functionable/minor damage.
U1 driver stated he was on his way to work and was looking at his mapping app on his phone.
U1 driver was cited for Full Time and Attention.
