The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 10/27/2025 at 1151 hours I was dispatched to assist an Officer who was flagged down regarding a
hit and run to his vehicle at the 600 block of Shattuck Ave S.
I met with the victim, identified as Richeto M. Saligumba (DOB: 04/27/1970) by WA DL, and asked
what happened. Saligumba stated that he was inside of is residence and heard a loud crashing sound.
He then said he then went outside to investigate and saw that his gray 2008 Toyota Prius (WALP:
CHT0256) had been struck by a brown or maroon Subaru Wagon (LP: UNK) that then proceeded to
flee South on Shattuck Ave S and then West on S 7th St towards Rainier Ave S.
Saligumba stated that the Subaru collided with the rear passenger side wheel of his vehicle, causing
significant damage. I photographed the damage to Saligumbas vehicle and he informed me that he
did not see the suspect vehicle driver and would not be able to identify a suspect in this case.
Per a check of FLOCK, other Officers were unable to locate a possible suspect vehicle.
I provided Saligumba with my card with the case number for this incident.
No suspect info for this case.
