NARRATIVE
25-9100 ACC
On 10/21/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the
City of Renton. 1 was dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury, non-blocking, collision in the
4300 block of NE Sunset Blvd Renton/King/WA. The caller advised they had moved off the roadway.
I arrived on scene and located both parties in the parking lot of SpringtTree Condos. I asked if there
were any injuries, a male later identified as Steve A Snyder DOB: 2/23/1999 advised he had hit his
head and has a small abrasion to the left side of his forehead. He said that he was slightly dizzy but
did not believe he needed aid. 1 asked him again if he was sure that he did not need aid and he said
they were not needed.
Steven was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla WA/CAA5554 (Unit 1), he advised that he was pulling out
of the Springtree parking lot and was turning into the middle two-way turn lane to head east on NE
Sunset Blvd. Steven said that he collided with Unit 2 in the turn lane. There was damage to the front
bumper and hood of the Corolla. Their vehicle was also leaking coolant. No airbags were deployed in
the Corolla.
The driver of the 2018 Honda Clarity WA/BPF8480 (Unit 2), was identified by her WADL as Lam-Minh
Nguyen DOB: 9/10/1974. Lam said that she was stopped in the middle turn lane to turn into
Springtree Condos. I tried to clarify that she was trying to make a right-hand turn from the middle turn
lane across two lanes of traffic. I was not able to get a clear answer from Lam as she repeated that
she was going to turn right but was stopped in the turn lane at the time of the collision. There was
damage to the passenger side front bumper and head light area. There was no airbag deployment in
the Honda.
There was debris and a fluid trail that led directly to the middle turn lane.
Steven advised that he did wish to be evaluated for his head injury, 1 called RRFA to the scene who
evaluated and cleared him. He declined to go to the hospital.
The Honda was drivable, and Steven was able to move the Toyota back to his home.
