First, Renton should review and scrutinize the activities that will take place inside this building. Religious activities on the neighboring properties during a certain religious month have been loud and unsettling to our community. We will not accept being subject to religious activity that would disturb us in our homes and that would take place late or during nighttime. Additionally, we have concerns about this development not meeting critical areas regulation adopted by Renton, and due to the limited developable portion of the site, we are questioning how that ability of the development to meet stormwater management requirements, and how Renton would comply with its obligations under the clean water act and the state's municipal stormwater general permit. We oppose the development being allowed to cut corners on any environmental regulations, and we plan to engage Washington FIsh and Wildlife, and the Department of Ecology if we suspect that to happen as needed
