Unless otherwise noted, the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King,WA.
On 11-07-2025 at approximately 1815 hours I was dispatched to a single vehicle collision that
occurred at NE 3rd St/ Blaine Ave NE. I arrived at approximately 1822 hours and met Ofc
Peterson who was already on scene,the driver of unit 1 and the witness.
The witness and the driver of unit 1 were traveling westbound down the hill and were parallel
with each other.The witness saw a dog,who may have already been struck by a vehicle, in lane
2 in front of unit 1. Unit 1 had no where to swerve out of the way as the witness was next to her.
Unit 1 struck the dog.The involved parties moved the injured dog to the sidewalk awaiting police
arrival. Ofc Peterson transported the dog to BluePearl Pet Hospital(402 Baker Blvd,Tukwila).
The damage to unit 1 was minor and the driver did not report injury.
The dog's owner tracked the dog's GPS collar and arrived at the pet hospital at the same time as
Ofc Peterson.Their information is unknown.

video. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact
