Unless otherwise noted, the following took place within the city limits of Renton, County of King,
WA.
On 11/08/2025 at approximately 2152 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury hit and run motor
vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Talbot Rd S and S Puget Dr.
The reporting party was identified as Jeffrey Schultek(10/17/1946),who was no longer on scene
and provided information over the phone.
Jeffrey relayed the following:
At approximately 2110 hours, he was sitting at the intersection of Talbot Rd S and S Puget Dr. He
was the lead vehicle stopped at a red light, preparing to travel northbound through the
intersection. An unknown black SUV approaching the intersection behind Jeffrey, rearended his
vehicle. Jeffrey was not injured,was wearing his seat belt and there was no airbag deployment.
Jeffrey saw the black SUV stop and then proceed forward through the intersection, but initially
believed the suspect was going to pull over.The black SUV did not pull over and Jeffrey followed
it north on Talbot Rd S and then east on S Grady Way. Jeffrey advised the vehicle was driving
recklessly and eventually Jeffrey stopped following it and pulled into the parking lot of Renton
City Hall.
Jeffrey was unable to provide any further information on the suspect vehicle or driver, other than
black SUV.Jeffrey's vehicle sustained moderate damage to the rear end and tailgate area, and
he sent me a photo of the damage, which will be uploaded to the case file.
I provided Jeffrey with a case number and advised him to contact the Renton Police Department
with any follow-up questions or pertinent information to share.
