Johnson <JTJohnson@Rentonwa.gov <mailto:JTJohnson@Rentonwa.gov> > Subject: RE: C23000097 - Construction Close Out Good morning Kevin, Please see answers below: “I provided the updated stormwater covenant. The last covenant I was able to locate in our system requires updates as a condition of approval (attached). If you have sent a further update I am unable to locate it so please resend me the email or exhibit. I do not have access to other staff’s emails if it was sent via email. The invoice for the stormwater invoice is to high. Please take a look at that. We paid full civil review fees when the civil permit was issued for alley access, that permit and design was scrapped, why are there additional fees? The invoice includes the fee for stormwater permit SW24003664 which was not paid during issuance and is separate from the civil construction permit. The other fees are the document recording fees. You were issued a refund on 9/11/23 for the alley design change to the civil permit. The water cut and cap was done a long time ago. The water line was passed and approved, what are next steps there? I’m looking into this and will get back to you this morning. The only reason the condition of approvals was issued was because we had to completely redesign the alley access after the alley vacation process was started. What more can i provide? I’m asking this to help speed up the process for you because Nate is out and I do not have history on this project so the more you can provide the quicker things can go. A quick letter describing how each condition has been met would be sufficient. For planning conditions, an email or quick confirmation from your project planner stating the conditions have been met is sufficient. Patrick Decaro already did the inspection walk through and the work is complete. I am forwarding you the email i received from him after his walk through. The email you sent was from June and didn’t confirm complete walkthrough but I will look into the notes and talk to the inspection this morning status. Regarding the stormwater permit, closing the permit will likely just be paying the invoice so that it can be closed in the system once I confirm that the walkthroughs occurred. Note, there will still be the final civil construction permit walkthrough for the sidewalk/public stormwater system once the as-builts are routed after my review. MICHAEL S.
