The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. See also https://rb.gy/1fvmfu  PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting an administrative variance to reduce the side yard setback of the subject property to 3 feet (3') along the property line with the abutting property to the North for the construction of a non-conforming attached deck to be converted into living space. Current development standards for the Residential-6 (R-6) zone require a combined 15 ft. with not less than 5 ft. (5') on either side for the side yard setback. On March 8, 2024, a Notice of Violation and Order to Correct, Code Case No. CODE23-000071, was issued regarding the enclosure to the existing deck without a building permit.
