On 11-9-25 around 1130hrs I dispatched to a hit and run at the intersection of Sunset Blvd NE/NB 1-405,
Renton, King Co,WA. Initial information was the victim, Carissa B Watson 9-10-98, driving vehicle,
4DD3450/MD (unit 2), was rearended at the intersection.The suspect vehicle, 216QPM/OR, continued on
Sunset Blvd without exchanging information.
The call was initially dispatched to NE Sunset Blvd/NB 1-405, confirmed by the initial RP. I conducted an area
check of that location and did not locate the suspect. By the time I got to the correct location an area check
was futile.
Carissa advised the following.Around 1100hrs she was yielding to southbound traffic on Sunset Blvd NE
attempting to get on NB 1-405.As she was stopped unit 1 rearended unit 2 causing rearend damage to unit 2
and frontend damage to unit 1. Unit 1 then drove away northbound on Sunset Blvd NE. Carissa and the other
passengers declined aid. Unit 2 was drivable.
The suspect was described as a black male, 30's,tall,thin build, with a long black beard.The Suspect vehicle
was registered to EAN Holdings indicating a rental vehicle.
Carissa advised she could not identify the suspect if seen again, however, she will press charges if the suspect
is identified.
