I contacted the reporting party, Reign Celine Owens(DOB 08/27/2001) identified by her WADL photo. Unit 1 was a gray 2003 Ford Escape(CFZ8685/WA)VIN/1FMYU93193KB75125, registered to a Stephen Lee Shores (DOB 04/14/1962) out of Chehalis WA.The driver was described as a white female, brown hair, 30-40 y/o wearing a burgundy jacket and gray pants. Unit 2 was a white 2022 Chevy Malibu (CPY7850/WA)VIN/1G1ZD5ST1NF162443 registered to the driver Reign Celine Owens (DOB 08/27/2001). Unit 2 stated that she was parked her Malibu, on the south side of S 3rd in the 800 block. While she was in the vehicle, unit 1 had attempted to park in front of her.As unit 1 parked the vehicle hit the front end of unit 2 causing damage to the front drivers' side bumper. Unit 1 driver got out and stated she did not have insurance but did give a phone number before walking across the street to 801 S 3rd St. The door she walked into is the entrance to apartments located above the stores.The female was not observed walking into a specific apartment. I attempted to call the phone number unit 1 provided but it went straight to voice mail.The Voicemail stated the number belonged to a "Bach". The damage did not exceed $1000 on either vehicle. I provided the case number to Reign. Unit#1 committed one(1)count of Hit-and-Run—Attended by being involved in an accident with another vehicle,which is attended, and failing to stop and remain at the scene until fulfilling all statutory duties (provide name, address, insurance company, policy,vehicle license, exhibit driver's license and render reasonable assistance to any person injured).
