Unless otherwise noted, the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King,WA.
On 10-29-2025 at approximately 1737 hours I was dispatched to a handle a collision by phone.
The collision occurred in the parking lot of Buddy's Recreational Marijuana (420 Sunset Blvd N).
The victim/reporting party,verbally identified as Eric R Adair(DOB 08-31-1971), reported that his
vehicle (unit 2)was struck by unit 1 approximately fifteen minutes prior. Eric described unit 1 as
a silver Chrysler 300 with tinted windows, unknown license plate. Eric was inside of unit 2 when
unit 1 struck him and fled the parking lot without an attempt to exchange information. Eric was
not able to see the driver, but did see unit 1 aggressively exit the lot, almost strike to other
vehicles, complete a U-turn and was last seen traveling westbound on N 3rd St. Eric was not
injured, and his vehicle was drivable. Eric had already spoken with employees as Buddy's who
stated they had the incident on video. I spoke to a Buddy's employee via phone who provided
her manager's contact information to request video. I sent a secure link to the manager's email.
At the time of writing this report, I have not yet received video from Buddy's.
Eric wishes to pursue criminal charges against the driver of unit 1 for hit-and-run (attended) if
identified.
Please refer to the Traffic Investigations Unit for further follow-up.
During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is
not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been
captured with the recording system.
