The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my left chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 10/30/2025 at 1347 hours I was dispatched to a collision report that occurred at 18701 107th Ave
SE on 10/23/2025.
1 called the registered owner of Unit 2 who advised me that Unit 2 was parked on the East side of 107
th Ave SE at around the 18700 block facing North. Unit 2's owner stated that Unit 1 approached from
the North on SE 187th PI where it performed a lefthand turn to proceed South on 107th Ave SE. Unit
2's RO stated that upon doing so, Driver 1 performed too sharp of a turn and the front bumper of
Unit 1 collided with the front bumper of Unit 2, as Unit 1 had crossed over the center line.
Unit 2's registered owner stated that Driver 1 informed him that she would pay for damages but has
not fulfilled this as of yet. I advised Unit 2's RO that he could take Driver 1 to small claims court for
the damages.
