Multiple reporting parties said a silver sedan was in the parking lot with heavy front end damage and the occupants of the vehicle were in an altercation. I arrived at approximately 1538 hours. UNIT 1: HYUNDAI SONATA Upon arrival I observed a silver Hyundai Sonata (WA/CTC7670, Unit 1) parked in the parking lot of 200 Mill Avenue S. Unit 1 was facing north and was just inside the west-end of the parking lot accessible off of Mill Avenue S. Unit 1 had been moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. DRIVER:TOLIVER, MARZERIO D. I contacted Marzerio D.Toliver(DOB: 09/11/1998,verified by valid Washington Driver License) near Unit 1.Toliver was very upset and was arguing with officers, at one point saying he needed to get a firearm from Unit 1 because he was "scared". Toliver was not injured in the collision. Toliver said he was the driver of Unit 1 during the collision, but I was unable to independently confirm this as Toliver's statement was less than believable. PASSENGER: HOUSE, MYLAEJAH C. House was not injured in the collision. House appeared under the influence of an intoxicating liquor. House had bloodshot, watery eyes, unsteady gait, slurred speech, and I smelled the odor of alcohol on her breath. House was very confrontational,walking around barefoot in the parking lot, arguing with officers who were helping her with a collision report, and filming us with her phone. STATEMENT:TOLIVER, MARZERIO D. I spoke with Toliver about the collision.The following is a summary of our conversation: Toliver drove Unit 1 "one some one-way road".Toliver motioned toward the south, so he was either referring to Houser Way S or S 3rd Street.An unknown silver Toyota Prius was weaving through traffic and cut Toliver off, causing him to lose control and collide with the rear of a King County Metro Bus (Route 148). Toliver pulled into the parking lot of 200 Mill Avenue S, but the Toyota and the Metro Bus continued to drive until they were out of sight. This statement was not believable, as it would be unlikely a Metro bus would not stop following such a forceful collision (as evidenced by the heavy damage to Unit 1). This concluded my conversation with Toliver. INVESTIGATION I asked dispatch to contact King County Metro and advise them of the collision so I could speak with the driver of the bus. Dispatch said a bus was, in fact, recently involved in a collision and a supervisor would meet me at my location. After waiting for several minutes, I asked the Metro supervisor to call my cell phone. It was no Longer safe to wait with Toliver or House, since they were very agitated and uncooperative. The supervisor said this was a hit and run collision.The supervisor gave me the license plate of the vehicle that collided with the bus, and it was the same as Unit 1. It was rather difficult dealing with the supervisor on the phone, so I asked the driver of the bus to contact me the following day(10/31/2025) so I could follow up with him. I have yet to hear from the supervisor or the driver. DISPOSITION This is an on-going investigation into a hit and run collision. I do not yet know where this collision occurred, have not independently established Unit 1's driver, or established probable cause.
