NARRATIVE
Renton Case #25-9192
On 10/23/2025 at 1635 hours I was on routine patrol in the 100 block of SW 7th ST, in the City of
Renton, King County, Washington. While on patrol, I observed two vehicles blocking westbound
travel on SW 7th ST, that had just been involved in a non-injury motor vehicle collision. This incident
was captured on my body worn video camera. This report is a summation of events that occurred and
is not an exact sequence of events.
I identified Unit 1 as a black 2015 Toyota Prius (WA LIC# D90244F) being driven by Unit 1 driver,
identified via his WA DL as Dinow A Ma Alim (DOB 01/10/2002).
Unit 1 driver told me he was not injured. I asked Unit 1 driver what happened, he stated that he had
pulled out of the north end of the Walmart parking lot, located at 743 Rainier Ave S, setting up to
proceed eastbound on SW 7th ST. Unit 1 driver said that as he turned out onto SW 7th St, he over
penetrated his turn and slightly went into westbound lanes of travel on SW 7th St. Upon crossing into
westbound lanes, he struck the driver side of Unit 2 vehicle which was traveling westbound on SW
7th St.
Unit 1 driver provided me with his WA DL, registration and proof of insurance.
Damage was observed to the front left bumper of Unit 1 vehicle.
I identified Unit 2 as a gray 2020 Nissan Murano (WA LIC #CKX5134) being driven by the registered
owner of the vheicle, identified by her WA DL as Angelica M Figueroa-Cabral (DOB 04/15/1974).
In speaking with Unit 2 driver, she stated she was traveling westbound on SW 7th St, just west of
Hardie Ave SW, when Unit 1 vehicle turned into her lane of travel.
I observed significant damage along the driver side of Unit 2 vehicle. Unit 2 driver had complaints of
shoulder pain as a result of the collision however she declined to be further evaluated by Renton Fire.
Unit 2 driver provided me with her WA DL, registration and vehicle insurance.
Photographs were taken of both vehicles at the scene, along with the sustained vehicle damage to
each unit. All photos were later uploaded to Axon Evidence. All observed damage was consistent
with the version of events provided both Unit 1 and Unit 2 drivers.
I provided each involved unit with a business card, case number and answered their remaining
questions.
Both vehicles were driven from the scene by both Unit 1 and Unit 2 drivers.
I then cleared the scene.
