On 11-14-2025 at approximately 1854 hours I was dispatched to 108th Ave SE/SE Carr Rd in the City of Renton,
County of King,State of Washington to a hit and run collision. Initial call remarks indicated the collision
occurred 2 ago and the suspect vehicle was GOA westbound on SE Carr Rd.The reporting party was requesting
phone contact.
I contacted the reporting party/driver of unit#2,verbally identified as Austin J. Roberts (DOB 02-18-1995), via
phone. He said he was driving unit#2 southbound in the 17800 block of 108th Ave SE in lane#1. He said unit
#1 was traveling southbound as well in lane#2. Unit#1 accelerated and changed lanes into lane#1 but did not
clear unit#2 when doing so. Unit#1 struck unit#2 causing damage to the driver side front of unit#2. Unit#1
sustained damage to the passenger side rear. Roberts provided a plate for unit#1 of CSJ1611 which came back
to a 2022 Dodge Charger out of Tukwila. Roberts said unit#1 continued southbound turning onto SE 180th St
and thru the Fred Meyer parking lot, making their way to SE Carr Rd westbound and eventually south on Hwy
167. Unit#1 did not stop to exchange information with unit#2.
Roberts advised he and his passenger were not injured and were wearing their seatbelts.
Roberts was unable to provide any driver description of unit#1 and would not be able to identify the driver.
Roberts advised he would like to pursue charges for hit and run.
During this incident, I was equipped with my in-car dash camera, which records both audio and video.This
report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire
investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system.
