Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred within the city limits of Renton, county of King, state of
Washington.
On 11/14/2025, 1 was working as a uniformed police officer for the city of Renton.At approximately 2015
hours, I was dispatched to a recent hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Factory PI N and N 4th St.
Portions of my involvement in the incident were captured on my department-issued bodycam.Any statements
referred to have been paraphrased and summarized.
While enroute, I learned that the suspect vehicle struck the reporting party's vehicle and then fled the scene
westbound on N 4th St.There were no injuries to parties on scene.The suspect vehicle was allegedly a white
unknown make and model SUV with a partial plate of WA lic/CAB.
When I was dispatched to the location, I was in the area of Rainier Ave S and Airport Way. I drove along
Airport Way and Logan Ave N. I did not see a white SUV with a partial plate of WA lic/CAB along my route.
I located unit 2 along the westside of Factory Ave N, immediately south of the intersection. I spoke to the
driver and learned that in the immediate moments preceding the collision, he was stopped in one of the
"middle lanes" on Factory PI N at the intersection's stoplight. According to him, unit 1 was positioned
immediately behind them.The front of Unit 1 then proceeded to collide with the rear of unit 2. He believed
that unit 1 did this collision purposefully. Unit 2, with little to no hesitation, proceeded through the
intersection, actually turning southbound on Factory Ave N (contrary to the notes in the 911 call)going an
unknown direction from there.
I walked around unit 2 and observed that the rear bumper was slightly dented.The damage did not impede
the vehicle from being operable. I captured photos of the damages and uploaded the photos to the case file
via Axon Capture.
I provided the driver of unit 2 with a copy of my business card and case number.
