This incident was captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summary of events
that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and
summarized.
On 11-18-2025 1 was working as a police officer in a fully marked, department issued uniform,
patrolling in a marked police vehicle for the city of Renton. At approximately 1536 hours I
initiated a blocking disabled call at the 1000 block of Union Ave NE, City of Renton, County of
King, State of Washington.
I observed a red 2014 Nissan Altima (license plate#CAS6372/WA)with their flashers on facing
southbound on Union Ave NE.The vehicle had a small but noticeable scratch mark on the rear
passenger side fender.Also, the rear passenger side hub cap had a crack. I stopped to check on
the driver to see if they needed any police assistance. I contacted the driver who 1 positively
identified as Susana Y. Garcia Hernandez (DOB 02-01-1985)via WADL. It quickly became
apparent that Susana primarily spoke Spanish, so I used Language Line Communications to
translate our conversation. Susana wanted to report a recent hit and run that just occurred.
Susana advised the following occurred: Susana was stopped at the stop sign facing westbound
at the intersection of NE 10th St/Whitman Ct NE. Susana had the intention to turn northbound
towards her residence but was hit on her rear passenger side fender.The suspect vehicle failed
to stop and exchange information with Susana.The suspect vehicle had fled towards Union Ave
NE, but Susana was then unable to determine which direction they left towards.
Susana described the suspect vehicle as an unknown color smaller bike. Susana further
described it as a possible e-bike or skinnier motor bike. Susana described the suspect as a
black mate, in his teens or high school age, light colored top, and a bike helmet that covered his
face.
I asked Susana if she would be able to recognize the suspect if she saw him again and she
replied yes. It should be known that after I asked her this a juvenile male drove northbound on
Union Ave NE past us. Susana had said that juvenile male was possibly the one who hit her

vehicle.This juvenile male was a white male, early teens, had a black/blue jacket, and a white
dirt bike helmet. Based off the statement she had provided to me I determined that Susana
would most likely not be able to identify the suspect in this matter.
Susana advised that she wanted to press charges if a suspect were located.
If a suspect is identified, I have probable cause to believe that they have committed the crime of
Hit and Run Attended (RCW 46.52.020), by being involved in a motor vehicle collision and failing
to stop and exchange information.
I provided Susana a copy of the case number to reference this incident.
I took photos of Susana's vehicle and uploaded it to evidence.com.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
