25-10038 HR
On 11/18/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the
City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run which had occurred prior in the Walmart
parking lot located at 743 Rainier Ave S Renton/King/WA. Amira A Mohamed DOB: 6/5/1989 was
calling to report that someone had backed into her 2025 Toyota Highlander WA/CUR9432.
I called Amira and asked what happened, she said that she was backing out of the parking lot and
saw in her rearview camera that the vehicle across the aisle from her was also backing out. She said
that she stopped about halfway out of her spot and the other vehicle continued until it collided with
her driver side rear bumper. Amira said that the other driver exited the vehicle, looked at the damage,
then got back into her vehicle and fled the scene.
Amira said she was not injured and said there was damage to her driver side rear bumper. She said
that she did not see any damage on the suspect vehicle.
She said that the suspect vehicle was a red 2006 Toyota Prius OR/323HYK. She described the
suspect driver as Hispanic female, 30-40 years old, long brown hair, 5-5 tall, medium build, braces,
last seen wearing a tank top and shorts.
Amira said she would be able to identify the suspect driver if seen again and did wish to pursue
charges.
The Oregon DOL return for the Prius showed it as "VEHICLE SOLD - BUYER INFO ON FILE
BRAND: TOTALED, RECONSTRUCTED" It was registered to a Larisa A Shevchenko DOB:
2/6/1983.
A LINX check of both the Prius and registered owner did not return any local or viable suspect
information. There was also no WADOL return for Larisa.
A search of FLOCK cameras showed that the vehicle was in west Renton just prior to the collision.
This case will be closed pending new information.
Nothing further.
