Attached are our breakdowns covering our claims against the subject
job. We have three areas of claim. The first was between station
0+75 and 3+75 here to existing Storm Pipe was higher then shown
and required ua to slowdo4n and hand oxcavate and grade the ditch
button. We request $1,044.00 to cover these expenses. Secondly at
about Sta 8e38 we encountered ,.lashing graders with the power atxt
gas lines. We had to scup our work and swait the rerouting of these
utilities by their rbspective owners. We request $831.00 to re-
mobilise and complete our work.
The third area is the .Qm vAl of saturated materials and replacement
with pea gravel. We request $1,193.OU for this work(123.5 tons Q $9.50t).
We request a change order be issued in our favor for $3,698.00 to cover
all three of these claims.

Construction Company, as a result of the utility project on
Jones Avenue. You said they were notified, in writing, that

quirements and approvals were received for said fills.
Would you please add the storm drain for Glenco, by Kohl
Construction, to the list? They filled a large portion of
land on Sunset and have not received approvals.

Dear Sir.
We have encountered soft material between the invert of the
new pipe and the top of the existing pipe. Have been instructed
by the City of Renton to remove and place with pea gravel.
Due to bad ground conditions we are covering the new pipe with
pea gravel 4 inches above the top of the new pipe at a unit
cost of $9.50 per ton.
We have found that the existing pipe is not true to grade and
there are places that we are only 3 to 4 inches between new
and existing pipe. It is costing us considerable time and
labor to locate the existing pipe. Extra costs will be
determined at the end of the jnb.

link for dainage improvements, further drainage improvements on Union Ave. N.F. have
been programed in the proposed Union Ave. N.E. Forward Thrust Project for 1984 Ine
Department requests :ransfer of funds to construct this critically needed storm
drainage project.
