Enclosed is a copy of the City of Renton Standards, together with Section
3-243 of the Renton FNmiclpal Code, governing the extension of utility
mains and relater paper work.
Per our letter dated December b, 1984 (copy attached), we need tho Bill
of sale and the waterline easement fully executed by Mobil 011 an,
returned to the City of Renton `01' recording, Recorded copies wily be
returned t0 you for your records.
The installation of your fire hydrants and waterline were a requirement
to "feet your fire flow demand by the City of Renton Fire Departnent,
(Very major utility extension, both water and sewer, must be properly
transfered to the City of Renton for operation and maintenance. Follow-
fig the recording of the instruments of transfer, the pipe and hydrants
become a part of the City'& major looped water system,
S Ue the water you use to caintail fire protection is not metered, the
alrcternative to the above would be to install large 10" Detector Check
meters and vaults (very exp-tivc) at each end of the line and maintain
a private system. Various Permit fees would become due by this action
and, OF course, you would pay for the water. However, this alternative
would not be favored by the Fire Marshall or the City Attorney, I strongly suggest you execute the dedication of water line easement 4nd Bill of Sale
so that we Can bring your project to Its Proper Contloalon,

extension, both water and sewer, must be properly transfered to
the City of Renton for Ownership, operation and maintenance
In order to properly transfer ownership to the City of Renton,
both a Bill of Sale and Easement form are required. As owner of
tiw subject property, it is your responsibility to have these
documents prepared. We are holding a water utility easement in
your file that has never been signed by Mobil Oil. A blank form
for the Bill of Salo, together with a copy of your water plan,
are enclosed, It is suggested that you contact .your engineer to
aid you in preparing these documents.
