RE: Suostan;.ial Shoreline Permit Application - Cedar River Water Main (SM 015-87)
Dear C b:
The Building and Zoning Department has received the application for a
Substantial Shoreline Permit for the Cedar River Water Main Project.
In reviewing the application materials, staff has determined that the following
information is required before we can officially accept this application:
1 . A description of the ways in which access to and through the area will be
managed during project cr,istruction.
2. A description of locations where fill is to be stored during construction
activities.
3. A description of methods to be used to control erosion during construction
activities.
4. A description of systems for containment of contaminated soil during and
following the construction project.
5, A description of measures to be undertaken to control contaminated waste
(e.g. asbestos) from pipes during removal and tra,)sport from the construction
site.
As soon as Building and Zoning receives the requested information we will
resume evaluation of this project and begin scheduling for ERC me_tings,
