Gentlemen:
During an inspection of the above portion of the project, the following items were found
to be incorrect or not completed as of this date: All corrections on this list are subject
to a final inspection and acceptance by the City of Renton.
A. STORM SEWERS
1. Catch Basins and Storm Manholes need to have asphalt removed from grates
and covers.
2. Complete asphalt patching, tack existing surface and seal joints between old
and new asphalt.
3. Catch Basin at northeast corner of 43rd and West Valley. Complete grouting
frame to riser.
4. Catch Basin Station 100+80 Lt. Grate fits too tight - complete grouting as
required.
5. Catch Basin Station 101+02 Rt. Complete grouting frame at south edge.
6. Catch Basin Station 103+05 Lt. Complete grouting frame to riser.
7. Catch Basin Station 106+50 Rt. Complete grouting frame to riser, provide as-
built data showing connections and invert elevations.
B. SANITARY SEWERS
1. Remove asphalt from manhole covers.

RE- TEMPORARY INTERRUPTION OF FIRE SERVICE WATER ON
S.W. 43, AT SPRINGBROOK CREEK
I have reviewed the situation presented by Bill Colbert on April 12, 1982
regarding the need to remove I ae,:tion of twelve inch water main along
Southwest 43 that crosses Springbrook Creek.
This division in cooperation with your officer, conducted a flow test this
date. While there will be a substantial reduction in the a allable flow,
this condition could be compensated by the installation of a standpipe con-
nection on the main to the west end of the bridge. This standpipe would
require three, 24 inch fire department connections and at least six inches
in diameter. A check value would also be necessary to prevent back flow.

In the event that this is acceptable to you and the contractor, plans should
be submitted far our review. This main shall not be shut down until an ac-
ceptable alternative is installed and inspected.
Prior notification is required.
