It has vome to our at Ltntion in the review of our Old open files that
there are some legal documenta that have still not been completed for the
above referenced project. Every major utility extension, both water and
sewer, must be properly transferred to the City of Renton for Ownership,
operation and maintenance.
The installation of your fire hydrants was a requirement to meet your
fire flows by the City of Renton Fire Department. We have been trying
to get this paperwork taken care of since the compiotion of your facility
here in Renton in August of 1983.
It Order to properly transfer Ownership of the fire hydrant line to the
City of Renton, hoth a Dill Of Sale and Easement form are required. We
',4ve prepared both documents for you and they now need to be fully executed
ny King County offietals. Also, we have enclosed a copy of your eogin-
eering plan showing the fire hydrant assembly that was installed, for
your *say reference.
Your earliest attention to this matter would he gratefully appreciated.

right, without prior notice or proceeding at law, at such time as may be necessary,
to enter upon the above described property for the purpose of constructing, min-
tatting, repairing, altering or reconstructing said utilities, or making any
connections therewith, without incurring any legal obligations or liability therefore,
provided, that such construction, maintaining, repairing, altering or reconstruction
of Bald utilities shall he accomplished in such a manner that the private improvements
existing in the rights)-nt-way shall not be disturbed or damaged; or If disturbed or
damaged, they will be replaced In as good a condition as they were Immediately before
the property was entered upon by the Grantee.
The Grantor shall fully use and enjoy the aforedescribed premises, including

Grantor shall not erect buildings or structures over. under or across the right-of-way

with installation and maintenance of the utilities. However, the Grantor shall not erect

Attached herewith is a copy of the ordinance which discusses the
special connection charge for system development. The portion that
refers to the S.04/sq. ft. is highlighted in yellow.
Also attached is an exhibit that shows the area that the transfer
station is being assessed on. The total square footage is 188,569
sq. ft. x SO.04 per sq. ft is $7.546,36.
To complete your water meter application the additional amount will
have to be paid the City of Renton.
