These documents are sent to you to allow coordination of the telemetry con- trol system with our pump station design. A project review is being completed at his time by the City of Renton, DSHS, and CH2M HILL and we expect approval for advertisement in the near future. Because we are near com- pletion we would anticipate the telemetry design to be tailored to the pump station design. Also due to the impend- ing advertisement date, changes to the lump station design that sre necessary to coordinate with the telemetry system will probably be handled by addendum. Our hope is that through our joint cooperation we can provide a suitable and acceptable product that meets the needs of the City of Renton. Sincerely, ,tames A. WARREN, CITY ATTORNEY RE: WELL NO, 9 CONTRACT PLANS 6 SPECIFICATIONS I have reviewed the Contract Plans and Specifications put together by CH2M-Hill. A quick review finds them to be in generally acceptable form. I make no particular comment on the technical provisions of the specifications. They are simpl: too numerous and complex to review without a specific problem to solve. When I review a contract for the City of Renton, I generally check on the contract language itself, the bid bond, the payment bond, the insurance documents, and all of the equal em-,)loymenr documents. If all of these are in appropriate order. I generally review no further I would suggest that you ask CH2M-Hill to specifv all instances in which their specifications deviate from that of APW. They should be able to readily provide you with that information without you or I spending days trying to find the distinctions. I anticipate that the changes will be few and that we can readily review those changes.
