A crew was dispatched to check out the vein line, and they foul the main line to be running good. The problem had to be in the side newer. the crow then pratuied to locate the side s[ r and found the side sewer wae; broken in the street. A new water main had just recently been installed. A four foot Section of the. side sewer was ornpietely gone. It had been dug out while installinq the water mtiin. It was replaced by City crews. k1xu feet of P.V.C. Warren, City Attorney RE: Water Project W-790, Grant Construction Dear Don; In reviewing the contract as preae-tc.d to me, I note that the performance bond is not in the fora the City has previously used. The failure to mention that the contractor shall pay all laborers, mechanics, subcontractors and materialmen is a substantial deviation from the acceptable bond. The last paragraph of the bond needs to be changed to substantially c,,mply with the last paragraph in the blank bond to the City ct Renton that is included in the contract. 'ft,, Certificate of Insurance shows that the property damage coverage is $250,000.00 per occurrence while the specifications require $500,000.00 each occurrence.
