Your Letter dated October 7, 1989 I am confirming, for Utility Engineering, that we have received the Bill of Sale for the water main, the Cost and Data Inventory for same, and the Backflow Test Report (Items la, lb & 2d) . It has also been confirmed by the Project Inspector that Items 2a, 2b, and 2c (seal asphalt patch, repair depression in parking lot, and repair depression on water main trench) have been completed. Item 2e, according to the Contractor, is installed inside under the sinks. The Inspector has requested that you have someone from Building inspect the urease trap. This deed must be signed by both; the owner of the Mazatlan Restaurant property and the owner of the property which lies just north of the 30 foot wide strip at the east and of the site. There is a curreut dispute over the ownership of the 30' x 120' strip and the City wants assurance that they will still have an easement, regardless of the out come of the dispute. or o A Title Insurance Policy for t!,. same easement. This would put the burden of obtaining an easement onto the Insurance Company should the restaurant owner lose the dispute.
