- All work will be performed onsite. Therefore, a traffic control plan will not be
required unless construction operations warrant its necessity.

A hard surface access through the site shall be maintained at all times fot
err- tency vehicles.
New hydrants shall be covered with burlap bags until operational.

Hydrotest of the sprinkler line will be inspected by Fire Prevention. Contact Jim
Gray at 235-2642.
If tempora.y above ground fuel tanks are to be stored onsite, contractor shall obtain
a permit from Fire Prevention.
Storm Water Utility
Y
- Prior to starting any onsite clearing and grubbing or utility work contractor shall
install TESCP per approved plans and as directed by City Inspector.
- N12 or approved equal may be utilized onsite with the provision that it be bedded
in pea gravel 6' above and below pipe.
- Ductile iron to N12 pipe transition shall be concrete encased per City of Renton
detail.
- Native backfill shall be allowed if deemed suitable by City Inspector. If not
suitsF.e, select backfill shall be utilized.
Sanitary Sewer
Installation consists of one manhole and a six inch building sidesewer which shall be
installed per City of Renton standards.
Water Utility
- Pipe material shall be ductile iron class 52. All ductile iron pipe and fittings shall
be polywrapped.-
Construction staking shall be performed by a licensed survey crew. Any deviation
tror aking shall be noted by the contractor and the contractor shall notify the
Sur to as built the deviation.
- Native backfill material can be utilized if determined suitable by the inspector. If
not, select backfill shall be utilized.
- Contractor shall form thrust blocks and leave uncovered until inspected by City.
Concrete shall not be 'ready mix" type.
- Hydrants shall be core type conforming to AWWA C-504-80.
- Pipecleaning shall be by polypigging thrcugh vertical crosses.
- Pressure test shall be a 2 hour test at 150 psi plus static with a maximum 5 psi
allowable loss.
- Chlorination shall be by injection of liquid chlorine at jo ppm, 24 hour retention,
25 ppm after 24 hours.
DCVA, chlorine pump, 12.5% liquid chlorine and hydrant meter are available at city
shop.
Flushing of water mai hall be into sanitary sewer only.
Connection to existing main shall be by City crew onl;,. Con,ractor shall excavate
trench, shore, and furnish all materials.
Final acceptance shall be after as builting, final walk through inspection and
adjustment of all structures is complete and satisfactory to the City.
Paving and Concrete Work
- Compaction requirements in roadway is 95%, 90% for remaining site.
- Minimum onsite roadway section shall be 2" AC on 4' crushed rock.
- Proctors and density testing shall he coordinated through City Inspector.
As Builts
As built drawings for all civil improvements shall be prepared on the original
approved mylars for the project and shall be stamped by a licensed P.E. or P.L.S.
