Dear Mr. Olsen:
This letter will serve to conform the plan review requirement of September 14,
1987, in regard to the above subject facility and the required fire hydrant.
Attached to this letter is one mylar of Site Sheet C-4 showing the location of
a new fire hydrant at the east side of the east highway along Third Street. It will be
an easy matter for the hydrant to tie into the existing 16" water line that runs along
Third Street. As we are already installing a 12' wide street turn-out at this location, it
will be a simple matter for the hydrant to be installed.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could advise us on what will be required
for use to coordinate such an installation with the City of Renton. It is our
understanding that we must arrange for a "wet-tap" and a scheduled preconstruction
meeting prior to installation. It is also the understanding from your office that as long
as we are coordinating with the actual hydrant placement, the building permit and
construction can still begin.
