CAG 007-85 amount of $5.589.04 to contractor, Grant Construction, if all
required releases have been received. Total project cost is

CORRESPONDENCE letter from Building 6 Zoning Director Ronald G. Nelson,
Development representing the Er •Irommen Cal Review Committee, was read.
at N. 44th Mr. Nelson aPpr'saJ Council of two proposed developments
Stree, located on King County property immediately adjacent to the
Inte•change City of Renton limits. The first, 4.S acre parcel east of
Deacv's Restaurant at 44th Street interchange, is being
considered for development of tonne rcial or multifamily
residential use in a four-lot subdivision. Upon completion,
the development would depend upon the City of Renton to
woply water, sewer, storm drainage facility and allow access
f ran two of the lots across private easements in the City.
Since annexation cannot be required until connection
to the water system occurs, the developer would wild to
King County standards through its eev*lopment process rather
than meeting Code requireaatnta of the City. The ERC recommends
that the City pursue annexation of the site and not allow
access to nor certification for City water until that process

all other liens upon the amount of the retained percentage withheld by the dis-
bursin, officer under such contract, and the amount of all ether taxes, increases
and penalties due and ovint from the contractor shall be a lien upon the balance

contract, the state, county or other municipal officer charged with the duty of
disbursing or autherizini disbursement or payment of such contracts shall forth-
with notify the Tax Jomrlssion of the completion of said contract. Such officer
shall not make atri payment from the retained percentage fund to any person, until
he has received from the Tax commission a certificate that all taxes, increases,
and penalties due from the contractor, and all taxed due and to become due with
respect to such contract have been paid in full or that they are, in the commission's
opinion, readily collectible vitheut recourse to the state's lien on the retained
percentage.

receipt of notice by the Tax 70mmission of the completion of the contract, the
amount of all toes, increases and penalties due from the contractor or any of
his successors or asaighees or to become due with respxt to such contract have not
been paid, the Tax Commission may certify to the disbursing officer the amount of
all taxes, increases and penalties due iron the contractor, together with the amount
