That agreement provided for a 1 inch petered service and a fire hydrant assembly. In order to provide the water service, and supply the hydrant, the City installed, for the State, 40 feet of 8 inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances across N.E. 16th Street, 535 feet east of Edmonds Avenue N.E. These facilities are shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof. No provisions for transfer of these facilities to the City were made, therefore, in consideration of the terms and conditions contained herein, it is mutually agreed as follows: The City, having approved the plans, specifications and construction of said water facilities, hereby agrees to assume ownership and full respon- sibility for the continued maintenance and operation of these facilities. Your acknowledgement, in the spaces provided below, accepting the terms and conditions contained herein will constitute an agreement between the State of Washington and the City of Renton covering transfer of these waterline facilities on the referenced project.
