The developers extended the 8" wateimain off of the Canyon Oakes Condo- miniums line and extended the main into the plat and to their east property lines. This is the standard extension across their frontage, and there was no off-site main work. I recommend the water latecomers request be denied. The developer extended the sanitary sewer off of N.E. 27th St. up the old N.E. 28th St. right-of-way (undeveloped) , through their plat and to the east property line. The only off-site main frontage along the new sewer line is Mr. Moji 's property. This is Tract N51 of C.D. Hillman's Garden of Eden, Division N1. City Installed Stub Service and Meter The Developer agrees via "Stub Service Agreement" to have the City install all stub services in his new development. At this time he can pay for only the stub service, at a rate of 60% of the present cost of 3/4" water service as established by city ordinance or he can pay the entire service cost and not have the meters set until he is ready for them. If he chooses to pay only the 60% stub service fee, when the meter is requested the difference between the existing 3/4" water service cost (at time of meter installation) and the stub service fee originally paid will be levied. B. Developer Installed Stub Service and City Installed Meter The Developer agrees via "Stub Service Agreement" to install stub services and to have the City install the meters. For installing the stub service the developer will be credited the 60`6 stub service fee at the time the meter is applied for. As above the meter portion of the service can be paid for at the time of service installation establishing a set fee (the meter being set at option of Developer) or at a later date, the meter fee then being the difference between the stub service credit and the present (at the time of meter installation) 3/4" water service cost. If the Developer chooses to install the stub services, the following requirements will have to be met. 1. Prior to stub service installation the watermain will have to pass pressure and purity tests. 2. The original reproducible as-built drawing of the watermain will have to be supplied to this office prior to stub service instaliation. 3. A screen mylar of the above-mentioned as-built drawing showing the locations of the proposed locations of the stub services by stationing will have to be supplied to this office as well as the negative the screen mylar was made from. 4. All materials used in stub services shall meet City of Renton specifications. S. No stub services will be allowed closer than 10 feet (measured horizontally) from any underground conduit or direct bury lines such as power, telephone, TV, etc., sanitary side sewers and/or storm drains. 6. All installed water services trenchs shall be left open until inspected by city representative. 7. Select backfill shall be used for trench backfill at the direction of the city representative. 8. Compaction of the water service trench backfill shall be 95% maximum dry density. The City reserves the right to have an independent esting laboratory perform compaction tests at the expense of the Developer. 9. Upon completion of the stub service installation the Developer will have to: 1) Place a "white painted" 2" x 4" wooden stub at end of water service b) Paint and denote water service location on curb c) Prepare an as-built drawing (by stationing) of locations on original screen mylar (see item BN;) submitted to the City.
