Water Vault
Reference: 10-111 Building Upgrade (formally the
Whitehall Laboratory Building)
915 Houser Way
In recent meetings, your staff made clear that a
condition of approval for a fire sprinkler permit is the
granting of an access easement for the City of Renton.
This easement will be used to inspect the fire sprinkler
vault (to be installed as part of the sprinkler system)
adjacent to Houser Way.
Please be informed that it is the intent of The Boeing
Company to dedicate to the City of Renton, a 131x22'
easement for access to this vault as outlined in the
enclosed legal description.
With this letter of intent, The Boeing Company asks- the
City of Renton to review this matter and permit the
installation of the vault pending legal concli.sion of
this issue.

The water main improvement and extension plan for the subject fire sprinkler system will be approved.ubject to
the following correction,as shown on the attached red-lined plan review checkprin
I- Installation of a 12 inch main line valve as shown on the checkprint.
2- Show City standards details for: 12 inch gate valve in vault,asphalt trench patching for street crtrssint,
general notes for watermain construction.
The following fees and permit costs and documentation must be provided prior to the issuance of a construction
permit for the above work:
1-Right-of-way construction cost(0-35') $30.00
2-Inspection/Approval Fees 5%of total construction cost of watermain
