Pipe materials, valves. fittings shall be as indicated in the standard notes. 3. The contractor will install all of the water main except the connection. All connections to existing mains to be accomplished by the City of Renton. All ,w necessary excavation, shoring, end materials to be supplied by the contractor and be on-silo prior to City notification. Allow one week notice. 4. All blocking must be mspec zed beWie backfillmp. Thrust blocks must be formed. Conciele used must be delivered to the job(no on-site mixes). Procedure for cleaning: Pipe cleaning shall be by poly pipping through vertical crosses. Talk to the inspector to schedule chlorinating. They need a week(5 wcrking daval advance notice. Flushing shall be drained into the sanitary. Water purity tests are taken to the laboratory on Wednesday. Contractor shall arrange courier for any other day. 6. Where conflict exists, the water shall go under other militias, however, no water mains shall be under more than 6 teat of cover. 7. The contractor, as well as the engineer, shall keep as-buitt drawings. All changes shall be shown on as-buillo. As builts shall be per City specifications. For any field changes, if minor, give City a shop drawing(by FAX: 235-25411; if malor, the Citv will require one to two days for review and approval.
