The Grantee shall,upon completion of any work within the property covered by the easement, ha restore the surface of the easement,and any private improvements disturbed or destroyed during { execution of the work,as nearly as practicable to the condition they were in unmediatety before commencement of the work or entry by the Grantee. ! i 2. Grantor shall retain the tight to use the surface of the easement as long as such use does not 1 ' ! interfere with the easement rights granted to the Grantee. Grantor shall not,however,have the right to: a. Erect or maintain any buildings or structures within the easement;or t b. CnNTRACTORS: Poe Construction is the general contractor and will be responsible for all street impruvements and utilities (water, sewer, stormwaterl. FRANCHISE t1Tl ITI cL Puget Power was represented by Paul Peterson. Ralph Bradshaw had contacted the other private utilities but they did not send representatives to the meeting. 1. The City requests that one blueline drawing showing the location of all franchise utilities in redlines be submitted to the project coordinator, Daniel Carey, for review and approval prior to installation of the franchise utilities. The blueline drawing should be submitted at lust two weeks prior to installation for City review. The City will respond with a short memo to approve the locations of identify any potential problems or conflicts. I 2. The owners representative. The franchise utilities require copies of the approved construction drawings before they 1 draw up their plans. The owner will provide copies of the approved drawings to the franchise utilities. 4. The City requested that all franchise utilities be located a minimum of 5' to 10' away from City utilities. 5. Each franchise utility must apply for a separate permit(prior to construction)for construction in existing or future City right-of-way IROW1. FIRE PREVENTION: 1. Contractur must call 911 a minimum of 24 hours in advance to schedule work in City right- of-way, or for street closures. 2. Contractors must maintain emergency access to✓W structures at all times. Emergency access must be a minimum 20' wide. Trenches may be temporarily plated to provide r emergency access as long as adequate traffic control is provided on the site. 3. All existing fire hydrants must remain in service. All new hydrants should be wrapped with burlap until accepted by the City. Inspectors will notify,Fire Prevention when the hydrants are reedy for use. j 4. Permits will be required for any on-site fuel storage tanks. The contractor stated that no on. site fuel storage tanks are planned. 5. All closures of existing City water valves must be coordinated with the City of Renton construction inspector in advance. 6. The sprinkler system from the vault into the building will have to be installed by a contractor with a state sprinkler certification. 7. The fire line into the building will have to be pressure tested. WATER, 1. Scotty's General Construction (631.34771 is the utility contractor. 2. Construction staking is required for all water mains, Staking shall be marked so as to be understandable to the inspector. .. 3 Inspection requests are required 24-hours in advance. Inspection number is 277-5570. All _ work must be inspected by City prior tc backfill. r r 4. If the contractor wishes to use City water'or construction purposes, he must check out a City fire hydrant meter and backflow preventor device.
