Temporary Water Service Agreement with the City of Renton dated Y.
September 21, 1977 and recorded unde, King County Auditor's File t.
No. 7710030510 covering real property legally described as

WHEREAS, that agreement was to be a covenant running with the
land until a permanent water main to serve the property had been

WHEREAS, the permanent water mein has now been constructed;
and
WHEREAS, the temporary water service agreement is no longer
necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Renton hereby releases and
cancels the Temporary Water Service Agreement recorded under King
County Auditors File No. 7710030510 affecting the real property
described in Attachment "A" hereto which is incorporated by
reference as if fully set forth.

Dear Mr, and Mrs. Davis:
Public Works requires the following items:
CONSTRUCTION COBS
• Install a handle on the shear gate on CB M2.
• fire hydrant needs chains installed on caps and port.
• Overhead inspection is scheduled but not signed off yet.
• Street name signs need to be installed.
• See Lot 3 - fill in the pond at the time that the structure on Lot 3 is completed.
Grade/fill the swale to the rim elevation at the time of structure completion. Do
not eli ninate the berm.
AS-BUILT CONCERNS
Wastewater:
. The as-builts are incomplete - refer to the redlines and revise or supply
additional information as shown.
Examples: show the as-built length and slope on the main.
• Plat shall show a Private Easement from Lot 3 to Lot 4 due to the as-built
location of the sidesewer.
. Add a note to the as-built mylers where it says Install gate - include the words -

A developer will be granted a credit of 60% of the current 3/4" water service cost
for Installing the stub po •Ion of the water service when he makes a meter applica-
tion. This credit Is based on a portion of Ordinance /7056, City of Renton,
Washington, which amends Chapter 2 of Title III (Departments) of Ordl nonce 11628
entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" pertaining to the Water
Department, relating to charges, Installations, fees and pro:edures.

No representatives were dissent from private utilities. Per a phone call from Karen
Sharp from Puget Power, all of their concerns are under control. Jim Davis said all
private utilities were contacted,
FIRE PREVENTION:
1. Maintain access to site at all umoa. Must be able to support emergency ed+l,Dment _
in all types of weather.
2. All new hydrants shall be Cory type hydrants to be painted Safety yellow,
Preservative Paint, Iowa and Renselear are manufacturers of Cory type.
3. New hydrants are to be covered with burlap bags until operational.

4. All blocking must be inspected by a City inspector prior to backfill.
5. Leads that exceed 50 feet in length shall be 8'.
6. Call 911 if the watermain needs to be shut off(emergency only). AV other water
mains or valves shut down, call Renton Water Department a:235-2646.
7. Fuel-any temporary on-site fuel Supplies must be permitted through Fire Prevention.

1. Seaport Underground, Denny Mellot 125E.82791 is the utility contractor.
I 2. Pips materials, valves.fittings shall be as indicated in the standard notes.
3. Tns contract will install all of the watermain except the connection. All connections
to existing mains to be accomplished by the City of Renton. All necessary
excavation, shoring, and materials, to be supplied by the contractor and be on-site
prior to City notification.
4. All blocking must be inspected before backfilling. Thrust blocks must be formed.
Concrete used must be delivered to the job Ino on-site mixesl, In the street and in
all crossings, the City requkes 5/8' minus rock backfill. Compaction test may be
required

5. Procedure for cleaning: Pipe cleaning shall be by poly pigging through vertical
crosses. All services shall be pressure tested to a minimum of 200 psi or 150 over
operating pressure(staticl for 2 hours. Chlorinate for 24 hours, using liquid chlorine
and chlorine pump assembly. Talk to the inspector to schedule chlorinating. They
need a week l5 working days)advance notice. Flushing shall be drained into the
sanitary. Water purity tests are taken to the laboratory on Wednesday. Contractor
shall arrange courier for any other day.
6. Where conflict exists. the water shall go under other utilities, however, no water
mains shall be under more than 6 feet of cover,
1, Final acceptance shall be after final walk through inspection, adjustment of all
structures and approval of as-builts, cost data inventory.
8. The contractor, as well as the engineer, shall keep as-built drawings. All changes
shall be shown on as-builts. As-builts shall be per City specifications. For any field
changes. if minor, give City a shop drawing (by FAX/235-2541): if major, need a
day or two to review and approve. Field inspector can not give approval in field for
construction changes.

complete. Air tests on main and side sewers shall be per City apecificadon, Number
9 6 wire shall be wrapped around the stub and extended to the top. As-built the

5. Connect Mobil home to sanitary sewer as soon as new main is accepted. Abandon t
existing septic system in accordance with Section 1119 of current UPC and Section
of 853E of City code.
STORMWATER'
1, Good erosion control measures are to be exercised at all times.
2. All pipes and materials shall be per approved plan.
3. Contractor must notify engineer of any vertical conflict prior to Proceeding with
construction. Submit a show drawing for review.

4. Bedding material shall be Per Standard Specifications 9.03.12131.
5. Backfill shall be compacted to at least 95% of maximum density.
6. City wants a nice smooth grout inside the CB.
7. City may request that the line be tamped.
8. Mydroseadmg or planting of biofiltrahon sweles shall be accomplished prior to storm
line installation and the grass shall be fully established prior to releasing storm
drainage into swales.
9. As-built swale width will determine building setback lines which shall be shown on
the plat prior to raccrding,
10. System is to be flushed and cleaned.
11. Smooth interior wall corrugated polyethylene storm water pipe, where permitted.
shall use heat shrunk or watertight couplings. It shall also be bedded in pea gravel
to the sPringlins.
TRANSPORTATIQN
1. Uniform Manual shall be followed for street closures, routing for traffic.
2. PAVING-The minimum compaction shall be 95% of maximum relative density on
subgrade and rock surfaces.
