UTILITIES REQUIREMENTS IRSW 2065)
Dear Mr. Dochnehl:
As the construction phase of your project approaches is milestone, the project
enters a new phase which 1 will refer to as Project close-out. I went to let you
know ahead of time some of the routine items that the City will require prior to
Public Works acceptance of the above-subject project.

rho ploiect shall complete all utility, drainage, paving. grading, lightinr landscaping
and street improvements. This includes any additional punchlist Items from the City
Maintenance Division. The construction permit for the project must be signed off
by Inspector Steve Pinkham, prior to completing project close-Out.
As•Built CQnam :
I will be looking to insure that the civil drawings accurately reflect the construction
activity. The civil drawings also need to show all watermain. sanitary sewer and
storm drainago systems easements which shall be consistent with the as-built
location of the utility.
Submit two sate of bluslines to this office once all of the above have been
addressed. a
Construction Cost Deta Concerns:
I am currently roviewing the Cost Data and Inventory Form for the Water System,
Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainay)u Systems and street improvements. Under
Sanitary you have listed 165 LF o1 8" PVC--is that Public or Private? The only
utilities that should be listed are those that will be taken over by the City. Please
sdviw.
The Bill-of-Sals is to reflect the items and quantities as shown on the Cost Data and
Inventory form. An example is included for your convenience. Return the original
form to this office.

A maintenance bond is required in the amount of 10% of the grand total of the
water, sewer, storm street, and street lighting costs as shown on the Cost Data
Inventory Form. A standard City of Renton maintenance bond is attached. The
permit bond (assignment of funds) will be released upon receipt and acceptance of >.
the maintenance bond and documentation of the above required items. Final sign-
off by the inspector has been received.
