Dear Rick,
We have viewed the site and done some preliminary research. Based on
this information, our proposal is as follows:
SCOPE OF TASK ORDER
I. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Survey of Hardie Ava. N.W. from Nelson Place N.W. to N.W. Third
Place for the proposed steel watermain replacement.
• Establish right of way centerline and boundaries.
• Install pk nails at centerline at intervals o• 50 feat for
construction staking and as-built survey.
• All data shown on plans at 10 feet beyond right of way.
• Show topography lines at 5 foot intervals.
• Show all known utilities.
• Show all prominent landmarks, i.e. vegetation, occupation lines,
fences, mail boxes, drive ways, side walk&, etc.
• Base map at a scale of 1" a 201.
• Profile plan view shall show horizontal scale at 1" - 20' and the
vertical at 1" = 101 , both on the same sheet.
• Product shall be prepared in AutoCAD format version 11.
Product shall also be plotted separately on City of Renton
standard 22" x 74" bordered sheets

SUBJECT: HARDIE AVENUE NE WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Dear Resident:
This letter is to notify you that the City of Renton Water Department will be installing a new
8-inch water line on Hardie Avenue NE from NE 3rd Avenue to Nelson Place NE per the
attached map. The new water line will replace a leaking steel water line currently serving you
Construction of this new water line will dart on Thursday, March 251h. It is anticipated that this
new line will be complete with all water meter transfers within 30 days. Complete landscape f
rasloration and street trench patching will be restored to original or better condition prior to
completion of this project.

During the installation of the water line, traffic on Hardie Avenue NE will be restricted to local
access only during the hours of 7:30 am to 3.30 pm. It is the City's sincere attempt that any
inconvenience you incur will be kept to a minimum.
