As the construction phase of your project approaches a milestone, your project enters a new
phase referred to as Project close-out. I want to let you know ahead of time some of the _

lighting. which will be turned over to the City, on the Cost Data and Inventory Form and sign
it at the bottom. Return the original form to Ihis office.
The Bill of Sale Is to reflect the items and quantities as shown on the cost Data and Inventory
form. Return the original form to this office.
A maintenance bond is required In the amcunt of 10% of the grand total of the water, newer,
storm, street and street lighting costs as shown on the Cost Data Inventory form. A - ndard
City of Renton maintenance bond form is enclosed. The permit bond will be release,, upon
receipt and acceptance of the maintenance bond. of the above documentation and final sign-
off by the inspector.
Final Plat IR ^ordinal Concerns
Please refer to the Final Plat Procedure handout which you received at the 3rd Floor Counter.

All Environmental Review Committee Mitigation Measures or. your DETERMINATION-OF NON-
SIGNIFICANCE-MITIGATED shall be fully addressed. It is recommendod that you start
reviewing this document at this time so that when you are ready to apply for your final plat
you will have all the documentation ready to submit at the same time.
All conditions and decisions of the Hearing E�ammer's Report shall be fully addressed for the
Preliminary Plat. Again, it is recommended that you start reviewing this dowment at this
time and insure that you have met all of your project's requirements.

STUB SERVICE AGREEMENT
(DEVELOPER INSTALLED STUBS)
A developer will be granted a credit of 60% of the current 3/4" water service cost for
installing the stub portion of the water service when he makes a meter application. This
credit is based on a portion of Ordinance 03056, City of Renton, Washington, which
amends Chapter 2 of Title III (Departments) of Ordinance 01628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton"pertaining to the Water Department,relating to
charges,installations,fees and procedures
Section 3-206,Subsection(F)as amended
(F) Whenever it is deemed prudent, in case of a new development of
subdivision, to install the service from the main to the property line,
hereinafter referred to as"stub service" prior to completion of the street
construction, the City will provide such service for sixty percent (60%)
of the then current installation cost for such service. At such time that
meter installation is requested,the remaining balance of the then current
rate shall le collected and paid for by such developer or sub-divider.
- It is agreed by CAMWEST
and THE CITY OF RENTON, that at the time of water meter installation the difference
between the stub service charge or credit and the service charge then in effect when the
meter is installed(as established by City Council)will have to be paid. This agreement is
for the following legally described property.

1. Pipe materials, valves and fittings shall be as indicated in the approved plans and
standard notes. In the case of construction in proposed new roadways, all
construction of the road prism shall no accomplished and in place prior to utility
installation to avoid damage or disturbance of the infrastructure. j
2. All connections to existing mains shall be accomplished by the City of Renton. The

a. Pipe cleaning shall be by poly pigging through vertical crosses installed at the
I ends of the water lines to serve as pig launches and sediment traps.
b, All water lines shay be pressure tested to minimum of 200 psi or 150 over
operating pressure Istaticl for 2 hours. Services may be tested separately by visual a
inspection of the Corp stop under static pressure.

c Chlorinate for 24 hours, using liquid chlorine and chlorine pump assembly. The
j inspector shall schedule chlorinating. Five working days advance notice is required.
d. Water used for flushing water lines shall be drained into sanitary sewer only.
e. Purity tests are collected by the construction inspector at blow offs and hydrants.
Water purity tests are taken to the laboratory on Wednesdays. Contractor shall
jarrange courier service for any other day. Test results are available in 5.7 days.
f Temporary and permanent thrust blocks shall be formed. Concrete for thrust
blocks shall be delivered to the lob. No an-site mixes are allovwd. All blocking must
be inspected before backfilling.
g. All watermains shall be polywrapped.
4. Recycled concrete may be used in lieu of crushed rock backfill. Pit run type material
may be considered for use in backfill by the construction inspector. Compaction
testing may be required.
5. Where conflict exists, the water main shall go under other utilities, however. it is
preferred that no water mains shall have more than 6 feet of cover. All water maim
shall have a minimum of three feet of cover
6. Final acceptance shall be after final walk through inspection, adjustment of all /

SANITARY SEWER
I. All pipes and materials shall be per approved plcn and standard notes. Minimum 2% r
slope- 24" minimum cover.
2. Size on 19th Street -existing 8- PVC (Saddle connection•\ Lots 11 & 12, ,I
3. Lot 12 -Side sewer crosses over water valve. (Slide 10 feet east)
4. In front of Lot 11 water line and storm line conflict. Emend water line one additional
length to west to clear the storm line.
STORM:
1. Approved temporary erosion control measures are to be mamtamed at all times.
2. All pipes and materials shall be per approved plan.
3. Contractor must notify engineer of any vertical conflict prior to proceeding with I

construction. Submit a shop drawing to Plan Reviewer for review. 4
4. Bedding material shall be per Standard Specifications 9-03.12(3).
5. Backfill shall be compacted to at least 95%of maximum density.
B. Catch Basins shall be grouted smoothly.
7. Systems shall be flushed and cleaned. City may request hat the line be lamped.
8. Smooth interior wall corrugated polyethylene storm water pope, where permitted,
shall use heat shrunk or watertight couplings. It shall also be bedded in pea gravel
to the spring line.

TRANSPORTATION'
i. Uniform traffic control manual shall be followed for street closures and routing tot
traffic. The approved traffic control plan shall be in place as required.

3. Conttactor shall not leave open trenches overnight. Backfill. plate or fence all
trenches. The proposed method of cover or protection shall be submitted for
approval to the inspector. Shoring plates and cold mix to be on-site at all times.
Cold mix for sidewalks and driveways may be required by the inspector r safety.
