Kurt told me that today they are , rigging up the interior of the reservoir and tomorrow they hope to begin ; R blasting. I told Kurt that we suspect that there is oil on the interior , surface of the reservoir standpipe. We suspect that a malfunctioning spider from the former contractor may be the reason. I told Kurt that if they find oil, they will have to wipe it off with solvent. Kurt said they plan to send a spider down the stand pipe today. They will look for oil on the standpipe surface. The air compressor and the air drier are both running. The dust collector is in the filter cleaning mode(compressed air is automatically injected into the filters to remove dust and dispose *" of it in the collection barrels). `P 315197 Two Long painting personnel arc on site. Crews for the telephone 3:OOPM antennae installation projects arc not on site. All the old blast material has been removed from the site. New blast material has been delivered. Long Painting started blasting the standpipe today. They did find oil - t.n the standpipe and will clean it up. The oil did come from a spider. Long Painting found a I"copper tu'oe coming out of the 16"fill pipe.at the bottom of the standpipe.
