Water meters were recently installed in the Pac-Rim Building by City of Renton crews. The
City charged the project their"Flat rate'of$2,400 per 1%::"water meter. The fee typically
includes the cost for the City to do their own trench and backf,ll. For this project the City
used our utility trench for the fire line and also had our utility subcontractor backfill and
compact the trench.

For this reason we are asking the City to rebate a portion of the meter fee for this work. In
addition the cost given to us at the start of the project was quoted at$3001meter, not the qfa y
$2,400 per 156"meter x 2 for$4.800 paid to the City at this time. ,

includes the cost for the City to do their own trench and backfill. For this project the City
used our utility trench for the fire line and also had our utility subcontractor backfill and
compact the trench.
For this reason we are asking the City to rebate a portion of the meter fee for this work In
addition the cost given to us at the start of the project was quoted at$300lmeler, not the
$2,400 per 1MY'meter z 2 for$4,800 paid to the City at this time.
