NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RENTON HEARING EXAMINER
RENTON, WASHINGTON
A public hearing will be held by the Renton Hearing Examiner on December 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM by means of the
Zoom Webinar to consider the following petition:
NWR South 23 - 25 Pavement Repair Project XL6747, LUA25-000376 Location: SR 167 MP 26.18 to MP 27.18 and SR
515 MP 6.70 to MP 6.93. The applicant, WSDOT, is requesting a noise variance to exceed the nighttime noise limits in
RMC 8-7 for highway maintenance activities. Sounds levels up to 97 dBA are proposed. Construction would take
approximately 15 nonconsecutive days and occur between March 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
