On November 24, 2025, at 0944 hours, dispatch requested I contact the victim of a recent hit and run collision
that occurred at the intersection of NE 8th St and Union Ave NE, in the City of Renton, County of King, and
State of Washington.The reporting party, later identified as Sukama G. Baito (07/29/1985), reported that
someone had struck her vehicle and fled.
Upon contact, I learned that prior to the collision Sukama was stopped facing westbound on NE 8th St at the
intersection of Union Ave NE. While waiting for a gap in traffic, Unit#1 was seen traveling southbound on
Union Ave NE.As Unit#1 approached NE 8th St,they made a sharp left turn onto NE 8th St and struck Unit
#2's front bumper.
Both vehicles collided in the roadway.
Although the damage was minor,the driver of Unit#1 refused to exchange information.The driver stated that
Unit#2 did not sustain any damage and subsequently left the scene without providing the required
documentation.
Prior to leaving, Sukama photographed Unit#1's rear license plate.
The vehicle was identified as 2014 Jeep Cherokee bearing Washington plate CUR4993.The registered owner of
the vehicle was identified as Ramon 0. Martinez-Zavala (11/01/1996)who lives at 630 High Ave S, in Renton.
Sukama requested criminal charges against the other drivers, so I provided her with my contact and case
information.
Sukama described the driver as a Hispanic female in her 40's.
I attempted contact with Ramon at his listed residence. I knocked at the door, but no one answered. It also
appeared that several adults resided in residence. Several vehicles were seen in the driveway, but not the
Jeep.
Later around 1800 hours, I returned to the home and spoke with a resident.The man told me that Ramon had
moved out about 2 years prior. I asked if he knew Ramon's current address, and he said "no." However, he did
confirm that Ramon was married and suggested that his wife was possibly driving the Jeep.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

I checked our law enforcement data base, but no addresses or contact information was found. In another
database, I learned that one of Ramon's vehicles was identified as a suspect vehicle in another hit and run
case. Reference 25-2865.
Ramons vehicle was found parked in front of 3412 NE 7th PL, in Renton, so Officer Hsu attempted contact.
Officer Hsu spoke with a man named Mariano and he confirmed that the suspect vehicle (Ramon's vehicle)
was owned by someone at the residence. Mariano told Officer Hsu that the owner of the vehicle had recently
moved in and did not know his name. Officer Hsu learned that multiple rooms inside the house are rented out
to different people. Mariano did not allow Officer Hsu to enter the residence and check for Ramon.
That concluded Officer Hsu's involvement.
Around 1830 hours, I checked 3412 NE 7th PI, but I was unable to locate the Jeep.
I have exhausted all available options to identify the suspect female.
Based on the information above,this case is closed RTF.
