On October 01, 2025, at approximately 1445 hours, dispatch requested that I contact a victim of a hit and run
that occurred at the intersection of East Valley Hwy and SW 43rd St,within the City Limits of Renton, County
of King, and State of Washington.
Upon contact, I spoke with the victim and confirmed no injuries had occurred requiring immediate medical
response at the time of report. I then asked for their independent recollection of events leading up to the
collision.
The driver of Unit#2, identified as Kenny Tran, said she was the sole occupant of his vehicle and was traveling
westbound on SW 43rd St prior to the collision. Kenny intended to make a left turn onto East Valley Hwy, but
as slowed for queued traffic, Unit 1 collided with the rear of Unit 2 causing minor damage to the rear of Unit 2.
After the collision occurred,the traffic light turned green, so he completed his left turn through the
intersection. He then entered the Shell Gas Station that's located on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Kenny thought the driver of Unit#1 would follow him into the gas station, but the driver fled the location
instead.
The driver of Unit#1 was described as a possible 20-year-old Hispanic male. Unit#1 was identified as a Infinity
G20 bearing Washington plates CEY0513.The registered owner was identified as Achille Herbert who lives in
Evertt WA.
Later, I asked Kenny if he could identify the suspect if seen again. He said no.
