Narrative
Unit 2 was traveling southbound on 108th AVE SE coming to a stop for a red light at SE
Petrovitsky RD. Unit 1 was traveling behind Unit 2 also southbound on 108th AVE SE
approaching SE Petrovitsky RD.
For unknown reasons, Unit 1 failed to come to a stop in time and the front end of Unit 1 struck
the rear end of Unit 2 causing very minor, non-disabling damage.
Driver 2 contacted Driver 1 who refused to provide information (license or insurance) stating
there was no damage. Driver 1 then left the scene without providing any information.
Driver 2 was able to take a photograph of Unit 1 which confirmed the identity. She describes
Driver 1 as a Hispanic male with a goatee in his 40's. This matches the registered owner's DOL
photograph and his license status was "NOT LICENSED-ELIGIBLE".
Driver 2 states she does not wish to pursue hit and run charges and would only like the collision
documented.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
