Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 11/29/2025 at about 1302 hours I was dispatched to take a hit and run report over the phone. The incident
occurred at 621 Rainier Ave S, in the City of Renton, County of King WA. Dispatch said, about an hour ago, hit
and run to RPs vehicle, suspect info.
At about 1306 hours I called, Charles White and he told me the following. At about 1130 hours he was at the
Brown Bear car wash, located at the above address. His black 2015 Chevrolet Equinox bearing WALP
ASA8673 was already on the tracks to go through the car wash. There was another car behind him, a white
2024 GMC Acadia bearing WALP CNW3458 hit the back of his car. He said they were both inside the car wash
getting their cars washed when this occurred.
I then went to the car wash to look at the video. I talked to the manager, Jerico Galvez and he said this
happened because Charles turned his car causing his car to get hung up and the Acadia hit his car. When I
looked at the video it appeared that the front wheels on Charles's car slightly turned, I could not say that was
100 percent correct. I was also without 100 percent certainty able to confirm Charles turned the car. I was able
to confirm that Charles's vehicle got hung up causing the collision with the car behind him.
At this time I am unable to without a doubt say who is at fault but I do know for certain it was not the Acadia.
I uploaded the video footage to evidence.com.
