STAFF COMMENTS
EM Director Deborah Needham shared remarks on behalf of DCAO Kristi Rowland.
We will incorporate information about boards and commissions into the next Civic
Academy curriculum. Casey King will be reaching out to schedule video interviews
with the chair and/or vice chair.

Parks & Recreation will return at our October meeting to discuss the PROS Plan
outreach efforts. The Parks Commission will join us for the presentation.
Reminder that the November meeting was moved due to the Veterans Day holiday
and will be held on November 18. We will hear about the proposed legislative agenda.
We have three positions expiring at the end of the year. We will be seeking to fill these
positions. Please refer interested individuals to the application on our website.
AUDIENCE COMMENT
Those wishing to address the Equity Commission will be called upon. Each
speaker is allowed three (3) minutes.

There was discussion among the members about allowed absences and the bylaws.
This will be discussed at a future meeting.
