On 12/04/2025 at approximately 1919 hours I was working as a Police Officer for the City of
Renton.While working I was dispatched to a blocking accident in the 1600 block of Maple Valley
Hwy, in the City of Renton, King County,Washington.
The notes of the call stated that there was a blocking accident at the location with no injuries.
I interviewed all involved parties and learned the following:
Unit 1: black 2013 Audi A5 (WA LIC: CPD2947). Driver: Lesly S. Martinez(DOB: 02/07/2003)
Unit 2: white 2018 Toyota Camry(WA LIC: BNE0146). Driver:Arjun M. Ernacal(DOB: 08/31/1991)
Unit 1 was traveling westbound in the 1600 block of Maple Valley Hwy in the right most lane.
Unit 1's lane led to the onramp of 1405, Unit 1's lane also had a large concrete divider indicating
the entrance to 1405. Unit 1 did not want to enter 1405, so they continued westbound, not
realizing the concrete divider was at the end of the lane. Unit 1 struck the concrete divider
popping her front passenger side tire and sending her westbound into the lane directly to the left
of her. Unit 1 attempted to stop but due to the blown passenger side tire she could not gain
traction. Unit 2 was stopped at a red light in the 1600 block of Maple Valley Hwy just west of the
1405 entrance in the lane directly to the left of Unit 1. Unit 1 slid forward after striking the
concrete divider and slightly scraped the front passenger side of Unit 2 leaving small scuffs and
scratches.
Unit 1's vehicle was inoperable as the vehicle was leaking oil and the front passenger tire was
blown. Unit 1's vehicle had no visible body damage. Unit 1's vehicle was towed from the scene.
Unit 2's vehicle was still drivable. Neither driver had injuries, and they exchanged information at
the scene.
